As therapists we have a duty of care to our clients which includes upholding and maintaining confidentiality.

 

Knowing what we know now about metadata collection, for ethical reasons we have chosen not to have social media accounts. / have chosen to disable followers, likes and comments on our social media accounts. In doing this we are actively supporting our clients privacy and further removing any pressure our clients may feel to follow, like, and comment.  

 

We have a responsibility to ensure that any interaction with our clients is ethical, and legally protected by Australian online security standards. We respect our client's privacy, and make sure that our interactions are protected and facilitated in a safe space through our regulated therapeutic platform Halaxy Pty Ltd. The communication technology provided to our clients meets strict Australian laws and security standards.
